In today's world, the global energy industry is confronted with unprecedented challenges. On the one hand, accelerating the shift towards clean and renewable energy sources stands as one of the most effective approaches to mitigate energy and environmental pollution. On the other hand, there are high expectations for technologies such as new energy generation, artificial intelligence, power electronic equipment, and other advancements in power systems, as they hold immense potential to enhance sustainable energy efficiency.

2024 3rd International Conference on Energy and Electrical Power Systems (ICEEPS 2024), themed "Creating More Flexible and Intelligent Energy and Power Systems," will center around a multitude of innovative technologies and their practical applications. Among these, "flexible interconnection" and "artificial intelligence" are particularly noteworthy topics of focus. In addition to the conference report, ICEEPS2024 will feature three parallel sub-forums that delve into specific areas of interest, including New Power System Asynchronous Partition and Flexible Interconnection Technologies, Digitalization and Intelligence of New Power System Services, and AI-powered Teaching Forum on Energy in the New Era. We look forward to researchers, engineers, scholars, and professionals in the field joining us to share their valuable insights. Together, we can foster academic exchanges, drive industrial development, cultivate talent, and shape an energy and power ecosystem that is green, low-carbon, highly efficient, and cost-effective.

The ICEEPS 2024 will be held in Guangzhou, China from July 14th to 16th, 2024. The conferenceis sponsored by the South China University of Technology and organized by the School of Electric Power Engineering of South China University of Technology and the AEIC Academic Exchange Center. It is also co-organized by the IEEE PES Smart Buildings, Loads & Customer Systems Satellite Committee - China, University of Macau, Shenzhen University, Guangxi University, and Sun Yat-sen University. The conference will feature awards such as Best Paper Award and Best Oral Presentation Award. Moreover, conference papers presented at ICEEPS 2024 will be published on the IEEE Xplore website and indexed by EI. Notably, exceptional quality papers will be recommended for publication in journals such as Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments and Electronics.
