1. About the conference:

The 3rd International Conference on Biomedicine and Bioinformatics Engineering (ICBBE 2023)  will be held in Guangzhou, China from June 23rd-25th, 2023. ICBBE 2023 aims to provide an enabling platform for innovative academics, engineers and industrial experts in the field of Biomedicine and Bioinformatics Engineering to exchange new ideas and share research results. There will also be discussions during the conference about the trends of the latest development in related areas and about bridging the gap between R&D results and industrial applications. Meanwhile, the conference also serves as a platform for participants to expand professional connection and network, and build international partnerships for potential future cooperation.

Prof. Aly El Sheikha, University of Ottawa, Canada
Prof. Aly El Sheikha is a specialist in Molecular Biology, Traceability and Food Safety; visiting professor at the University of Ottawa (uOttawa) and full professor at Jiangxi Agricultural University (JXAU), with 23 years of experience as Deputy Leader, Coordinator, and Researcher in several international projects (e.g., Canadian Project “NSERC-CRD-474638-14”; European Projects “EDES”, “FSP 2006-43”, Innovkar “No. INCO-CT-032037”, Trace and HEEPF “Higher Education Enhancement Project Fund” 2004-2006), 17 years of experience in higher education as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Professor in many countries worldwide. Professor Aly El Sheikha got his PhD in "Biotechnology-Microbiology" at University Montpellier 2, France in 2010 and two post-docs [CIRAD, France (2011); Halal Products Research Institute, Malaysia (2012-2013)].
Prof. El Sheikha invented a novel molecular diagnostic method for detecting and identifying pathogenic Candida species which opens up new avenues such as the differentiation between drug-resistant and drug-sensitive strains of infectious fungi within the same species (US Patent No. US 62/964,218: Pending); developed molecular techniques for ensuring compliance with the Food and Drugs Act and Regulations and other relevant food legislation; participated in the Construction of seven research laboratories in different disciplines in China, France, and Benin; and was granted trophy of Agriculture Faculty, UPM, Malaysia. 
With more than 90 publications in international reviews (e.g., Books, Chapters, Articles, etc.) with a total [Accumulated Impact Factor: 167.221; Accumulated Citations: 1713; h-index: 26]. Participated in 13 international conferences, professor Aly El Sheikha is a member of the international board for Member of Editorial Board of Food Research International; Frontiers in Microbiology; Reviewer of more than 77 International Journals in diverse scientific fields [e.g., Trends in Food Science & Technology; Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition; Food Chemistry; Journal of Functional Foods; Food & Function; Field Crops Research; Food Control; Scientific Report], Member of Executive Committee of Asia Pacific Institute of Food Professionals, International Advisory Committee of AFSA, Global Food Safety and French Society of Ecology, Member of the Kastler Foundation (FnAK) created by the Academy of Sciences, France. International Reviewer for Research Projects Worldwide (e.g., Chile).

All submissions will be peer reviewed, and the accepted papers will be published and submitted to  EI Compendex (Web of Science) for indexing.

*Manuscripts reviewed by experts from the conference organizing committee will be accepted and published on conference proceedings. The published papers will then be submitted for EI, SCOPOUS, abstracting/indexing.

1) Both Abstract and Full Paper are welcomed. The author can make an oral presentation after the Abstract is accepted and the payment is finished.
